GA Akadēmija
A video sales page for Gustavs Auziņš's business academy, built to turn one founder video into enrolments at two price points.
The academy was sold through Instagram messages and a link in the bio. One video did the persuading, but there was nowhere solid to send an interested viewer afterward. People landed on a page that could not hold their attention, answer the obvious doubts, or take a sign-up, so warm interest cooled before anyone enrolled.
One video does the persuading, so the page is engineered around it, then splits traffic into two funnels. The founder's video sits front and centre, with proof, his story, and a free-video-versus-this-program comparison stacked below to reframe the paid offer as the shortcut. From there buyers self-select: the Basic tier checks out in one click through Stripe, while Premium is deliberately gated, its price hidden, behind a booked application call, so only high-intent buyers reach it. A countdown on the launch discount adds urgency, and every enquiry drops straight into the CRM. It gives the academy a real home for its social audience, with a path to enrolment whether someone is ready to buy now or wants a call first.
Why it looks the way it does
The thinking behind the design: what we chose, what we changed, and why.
Built around the video
One video does the convincing, so the page is designed backwards from it: a deep, near-black ground, nothing competing for attention, and every section below answering the next doubt a viewer actually has, in the order they have it.
Gold is the brand, blue is the button
Gold carries the premium academy identity in headings and highlights, while an electric blue is reserved for actions only. Splitting the two means the brand color never dilutes the call to action, and the buttons stay unmissable on the dark ground.
One path, no exits
There is no menu maze: a single scroll from promise to proof to programme to checkout, with enrolment one click away from every section. Removing choices is the design decision that makes a sales page convert.
Native Latvian, not translated
The copy was written in Latvian from the first line, with Bricolage Grotesque as the display voice and Inter for reading. It sounds like the founder talking, not like a localisation.
